Papyrus Now Available to S60v3 Users

SBSH releases Papyrus 1.2 which now supports Symbian 3rd edition devices, such as the Nokia E61, N80, N91/92/93. For those who find the S60 3rd Edition Calendar restricting, now they can use a more fully-featured third party alternative. Tspierings at the AAS forums already downloaded it for his Nokia N73 and reports a few problems. He expects a newer version in a few days.

Nokia N93 Survives Against a Tidal Wave

James over at the Creative Life had his Nokia N93 splashed with water. He tried dodging, but was unsuccessful. Luckily everything went back to normal after drying it off for an hour. I would have cried if mine got wet. Check his video as his phone gets splashed.

Started playing with Final Cut again. I think it requires a steep learning curve, but I’m starting to get used to it. The video is from a camping trip this summer with my girlfriend. It was our first and last time fishing because catching them and trying to pry them off the hook is just too cruel!

Thanks to Nokia for letting me play with a Nokia N95 prototype! The operating system in the version I used was still buggy, so I really can’t say anything about its functions. One noticeable bug was that the camera is upside down. However, I can share my first impressions of its form and appearance. I can look at the paper for the specifications, but holding it in my own hands gave me a better impression of the real thing.
