Both have large sensors and fit in your pocket. One is a dedicated camera, the other is a camera… with a phone. DCfever took some photos with the 2 devices for comparison. Those interested in the Nokia 808 PureView for its camera might also want to check out the Sony RX100. What makes the Nokia 808 PureView stand out from existing cameraphones and point & shoot cameras is its large sensor. However, the new pocket camera from Sony is now slowly making it to retailers’ shelves with even a larger sensor and a lower price.
