DIY Alternative Nseries Bicycle Cradle
I live in Bogotá, Colombia, and the traffic is just insane. Usually most of the time the best way to go around for small trips is using a bicycle, which has been my ride for 15 years now. It was frustrating not being able to follow my trip on Sportstracker, until I read about a cradle ideal for sportstracker here on The Nokia Blog. It was exactly what I needed but according to Mark, it was a prototype and no one knows if it will hit the streets someday. Therefore, I made my own one with the materials I found handy.
Vlog: Nokia Sports Tracker Bike Cradle
I have a video of the Nokia Sports Tracker bike cradle which is a promo product that we’re not sure when or if it will be available in stores. It was sent by Ms. Jen who is an avid Sports Tracker user and scored a few from a Nokia manager.
Nokia N82 Using Sportstracker At 10000 Meters Altitude
I recently flew home from Houston to Los Angeles. I got myself a window seat during check in. I was pleased to find my seat had two windows. Inspired by a post by Monadi at Phone-rush, I wanted to try GPS in mid-flight for myself.
Hiking Breakneck Ridge With Nokia N82 and Sports Tracker
Today I went hiking with Sheila at Breakneck Ridge which is about an hour north of New York City. I brought along the Nokia N82 to record our hike with Sports Tracker and take pictures with the 5 megapixel camera. I was really glad I had the Nokia N82 because the ‘shortcut’ we took led us to a poorly marked trail and an omfg snake. Read on for more details.
Hiking Week 2: Just A Walk Around the Lake
Last week, I told you that I’m taking a hiking class and I was really looking forward to this week’s hike to Bear Mountain which was supposed to be 5 miles and 1,000 feet vertical rise. Due to weather, the instructor told us it would not be safe and had an alternate hike, instead. Nevertheless, I had the Nokia N95 8GB running Sports Tracker to show you my walk.
First Hike With The Nokia N95: Castle Rock Unique Area
I’m currently taking a hiking class and will be hiking every Sunday until May. I have the Nokia N95 NAM with me to record the hike, stream live videos, and take geotagged pictures. The first hike was in Castle Rock Unique Area in Philipstown, NY, which is about an hour and a half north of New York City.
How To: Embed Sports Tracker Data to Your Blog and Make Position Art Like Stavros
Currently, Sports Tracker users cannot have embeddable codes to show off their maps on blogs. During my vacation in Mexico, I used the Nokia N95 NAM with Nokia Sports Tracker to help me track where I travelled and help me locate where the pictures I took with. I already shared how to embed the location of geotagged photos but now I’ll tell you how to include the location path you took and perhaps create and share position art like Stavros.
