Nokia Lumia 521 Shows Up Temporarily at Walmart
T-mobile’s exclusive Nokia Lumia 521 went on sale at Walmart’s online store this weekend, but it quickly became unavailable. The price was $129.99 without requiring a 2-year contract. It wasn’t supposed to go on sale until the 11th, so maybe someone at Walmart accidentally pressed a button early and quickly fixed their mistake. Or maybe they decided to sell some devices early to check interest.
AT&T Did Not Want To Sell Me a Nokia Lumia 920 (Update: Got it!)
The Nokia Lumia 920 went on sale today in the US at AT&T stores, but actually buying one this morning was harder than I expected. I went to two AT&T stores and both of them couldn’t sell me a Nokia Lumia 920 without a contract. Here are the details.

Video: Nokia Lifestyle Shop in Bangkok
Nokia opened a Lifestyle Shop in Bangkok a couple of weeks ago. If the photos we showed you weren’t enough, there’s now a video online from the launch. You might not like the background music. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Nokia Lifestyle Shop Opens in Bangkok
A Nokia Lifestyle Shop just opened in the center of Bangkok. It is the first of its kind in Thailand. If my translation is correct, the first customer who bought a Nokia Lumia phone received another phone of the same model for free. The first 100 customers also received either Nokia Purity earphones or Nokia DC-16 portable chargers.
Nokia Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle Now Online at Microsoft Store
Want the Nokia Lumia 800 Entertainment Bundle, but don’t live near a Microsoft retail store? Well, now you can buy it at the Microsoft online store. It’s available in Black or Magenta for $899. It’s an insane price, but doesn’t seem so bad if you actually calculate the total cost of buying the devices in the bundle separately.

Nokia Online Shops in France and Spain Shut Down
I always tell the readers in the US to avoid the official Nokia Online shops and buy at Amazon because of lower prices. I’m not sure where Nokia users in France and Spain buy their devices, but they will no longer be able get them directly from Nokia’s online stores. Notices were posted today to redirect them to other outlets.

Nokia’s Ovi Store Updated With New Content Sorting (Excludes Maemo)
The Nokia Ovi Store team rolled out an update on Thursday to provide faster access to relevant content with new content sorting for the store. This seems to apply to S60 devices only like the Nokia N97 mini because I do not see the changes on the Nokia N900. The update is available through a prompt when opening the Ovi Store.
