Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile Now Official
The Nokia Lumia 710 for T-mobile is now official after several leaks. Nokia’s first Windows Phone device in the US is remaining mostly stock with the addition of T-Mobile TV, T-Mobile My Account, and Telenav GPS. It’s expected in stores January 11th for $49.99 with 2 year contract.
Leaked Accessories Promo Confirms Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile
If the FCC documents for the T-mobile Nokia Lumia 710 weren’t enough, an ad for its accessories was just leaked. The promotion states 20% off 2 accessories or 30% off 3 accessories. The words Nokia Lumia 710 are printed in bold. We are expecting an announcement of this Windows Phone device on December 14th.
T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 Spotted at the FCC
We can probably predict the T-Mobile and Nokia event in New York City next week will be about the Nokia Lumia 710. FCC documents now include the device manual, revealing T-mobile branding on the device. Who knows, maybe there’s a “one more thing.”
Nokia and T-Mobile USA Announcing Something on December 14th
Two of my favorite brands, T-Mobile USA and Nokia, are going to announce something on December 14th. The invitation hints Windows Phone. Could it be the Nokia Lumia 710? Maybe the Lumia 900? We’ll have to wait and see.
T-Mobile Nokia Astound Finally Gets Symbian Anna Update
Firmware version 24 became available for the T-Mobile Nokia Astound on Tuesday. The device finally got the Symbian Anna update. The Astound is the US variant for the Nokia C7. The update is only 11MB and you can download it through the phone. The previous firmware was version 20.
Black Nokia Windows Phone Appears in T-Mobile Poster
Don’t you hate being teased? A tipster sent over a partial photo of a Nokia Windows Phone and a short description of the device to winrumors. We only see what’s at the bottom of the display; a couple of icons from T-Mobile and the 3 Windows Phone buttons. Damn you, tipster. Why couldn’t you just show us the whole device?
Demo: Portrait Swype Keyboard Update on Nokia Astound
The T-Mobile Nokia Astound got an update last week with the addition of Swype keyboard in portrait mode. This is currently the only Symbian^3 phone with this feature. The rest (Nokia C7, Nokia N8, Nokia E7) still only has Swype in landscape mode. I hope to see this feature in all Symbian^3 phones soon. Video after the jump.

T-Mobile Nokia Astound Video Review
I’m going to try something new. Instead of reviewing phones with multiple paragraphs, I’ll be more visual and now do it through videos. The first phone to get that treatment is the T-Mobile Nokia Astound. The Astound is basically the Nokia C7 with newer firmware, portrait Qwerty, updated browser, and a few other extras. Priced at only $79.99 with a 2-year contract, will it be a hit at T-Mobile? We’ll find out.
Nokia Booth Tour at CTIA Wireless 2011
CTIA Wireless 2011 has come and gone. While checking out Nokia’s booth, I saw a familiar face. I asked Chanse Arrington, Head of Developer Marketing from Nokia North America to get in front of camera and explain what Nokia was doing at CTIA. Go watch the video.
