The Nokia DT-22 Tripod and adapter is now hard to find, but don’t worry because there is a similar product called the Sunpak Verispod. The DT-22 and Versipod allows you to attach your mobile phone to the included mini-tripod as well as larger tripods using standard sockets. You can take clearer pictures using a tripod.
While traveling, it’s hard for me to trust a stranger to hold my expensive Nokia phone to take a picture. They might drop it or even worse run away with it. The Quik Pod fixes this problem for digital cameras by simulating an extended arm. By attaching the Nokia DT-22 to the Quik Pod, we now have a cool accessory to use for taking pictures or videos using our Nokia phones without the need of a stranger.
Blogging with mobility is becoming popular. For example, Ricky Cadden uses Maemo Wordpy on his Nokia N810. Norman John uses combination of the Nokia DT-22 Tripod, Nokia SU-8W Keyboard, and Nokia N95 8GB for mobile blogging. I like to keep blogging on my laptop, but I do moderate the Nokia Blog comments through my Nokia N95 phone using a plugin for Wordress.
I will review the Nokia Universal Tripod DT-22. Now that our phones can handle exceptional pictures and video, it is almost a necessity to have something that will keep our phone steady to capture precious or random moments. Others have used homemade do-it-yourself tripods, but the DT-22 makes sure your expensive cameraphone is officially secure in place (and look better).
