According to GeekWire, the Windows Phone manager who tweeted about an unreleased Nokia Windows Phone supposedly resigned after learning that he would be let go for improper use of social media and disclosure of confidential information. Microsoft has confirmed that Joe Marini, principal program manager for the Windows Phone web platform, no longer works for the company.
@NokiaCareUS just kicked off a contest that can get you a Nokia E7. All you need to do is create an original video with “How To” tips on using services and features found on your Nokia handheld device, or on correcting problems with your Nokia handheld device. This is open to the United States only.

Nokia recently created @NokiaCareUS to help North American users on Twitter with support questions. The account also has Nokia experts tweeting tips everyday. I thought getting customer support through 140 characters was interesting, so I sent a few questions to Sean Valderas, the Customer Care Manager at Nokia. Have a look at the responses.
TwimGo, the best Twitter client for the Nokia N900, was just updated to version 2.0.15. It now includes old and new retweets, and the ability to view original tweets when viewing reply details. You can download the new version at twimgo.com, but make sure to remove older versions before installing the new one.
If you love the inclusion of Gorilla Glass on the Nokia N8, we have good news for you. All glass displays on Nokia phones will come from Gorilla Glass according to senior design manager for smartphones, Niilo Alfthan. He tweeted about the displays during a Nokia Design Q&A earlier this morning. Gorilla Glass is infamous because it is very hard to scratch or break, making those screen protectors obsolete.

Nokia’s Executive Vice President Markets, Niklas Savander, just spent an hour responding to questions about Nokia on Twitter. His last response was granting @SimonBates from South Africa a trip to Nokia World in London! Anyhow, I was invited to dinner with Niklas tonight in New York City, so send me your questions he couldn’t respond to on Twitter. I’ll try to get them answered for you.

We just got word that a whole team of folks will be working on the
@NokiaUSCare @NokiaCareUS twitter account to answer questions you have about Nokia products or the Ovi Store. The account was created last June but they just tweeted about the launch today. This could be the fastest way to let someone at Nokia know about the issues you’re experiencing.
