It was all over the blogs yesterday that Microsoft is announcing something on June 18th, but now it seems Nokia is showing something too. Coincidence? The Nokia US Facebook page just uploaded a photo with 06.18.12 in bold letters with a map of Hawaii in the background. What does it mean?
Beginning March 1st, 2012, new and existing U.S. Nokia Lumia 710 owners can visit www.nokiacolorcover.com to choose their favorite Xpress-on color cover, and Nokia will ship it to them directly at no cost. They can choose from these brilliant colors: white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow.
I opened App Highlights today on the Nokia Lumia 800 and noticed it displayed “Weber’s Picks” on the first page. I don’t think I’ve seen this before. There’s no explanation anywhere in this app who Weber is, but if you follow Nokia, you probably know that he is the Nokia US president. Let’s take a look at his picks.
The wait is over. The Nokia E7 has finally reached the US. It was announced last September and started shipping in February at certain parts of the world. The Nokia USA online shop has it in stock now for $679, while Amazon has it for $649. It seems a little high. Are you opening your wallets for the E7?
