N-gage is currently running a cool viral site called Zombie Singles to promote the game Resident Evil Degeneration. You can use your webcam or upload a picture for your profile which you can zombify with blood and other stuff that makes zombies scary. I just created my profile, and now I look even scarier.

Nokia Launching a Phone in 3 Days

My phone knows everything about me. If you found my phone, would you look through it? That’s the question at a new viral campaign Nokia is running. It doesn’t look like a high-end phone and the name is not revealed until the October 13th, 8PM Eastern Time. I was also invited to a dinner by WOM World Nokia around the same time here in New York, so I’ll assume they are related.

I wrote about the Limited Edition Nokia N96 from the Face The task website, and now I get an email from an angry customer thinking the the site is misleading. Rubin Simons is disappointed to find out he will not get as soon as he thought, and even angrier not getting a real estimated date. Take a look at his letters to Nokia and their response.

You just have to see this clip. A guy was found texting on his cell phone while lying down on his motorcycle and maneuvering through the streets. I thought I’ve seen it all when a woman was swerving on the highway because she was putting make-up on, but this guy definitely takes the trophy.

Remember the eating contest in the Nokia N95 8GB Open to Anything commercial? Now we have the world’s worst magician using the Nokia N95 8GB’s GPS to find his way when he gets lost in his disappearing act. He then uses the 5 megapixel camera to take pictures while waiting for his mom to pick him up. LOL take a look!

I received a surprising accessory today in the mail for review: the Mobile Video Hat. I’ve seen it before at the Nseries sponsored Crown Point Festival here in New York City and was really curious about it. I thought this was a real product for viewing videos totally hands-free but I think it is a viral marketing the Nokia Nseries for watching videos. Nokia might think it’s a joke, but it could actually be useful in creating cool videos. I made a video of how it can be used!

Connection Between Nokia N81 and Codename Cloverfield?

There’s a cool connection between the Nokia N81 and a mysterious upcoming movie codenamed Cloverfield. You’ve probably heard about the mysterious site for the Nokia N81, 070829.com already. For those who haven’t heard of Cloverfield, it is a monster movie coming out on January, 2008 from the same producer of popular TV show, Lost. How is the movie connected to the Nokia N81?

Nokia N95 Viral Videos Uploaded on Youtube

In conjunction with the website Great Pockets, it looks like the marketing team for the Nokia N95 also created a YouTube account to upload some viral videos. The account was created only 2 days ago and so far have 3 videos 4 videos. Notice that there is no mention of the Nokia N95 anywhere on the videos and you will not know it is an ad for the Nokia N95 until after navigating the website. Check it out.
