Windows Phone 8 Update With FM Radio Support Expected in Coming Months
According to The Verge, Microsoft is preparing an update for Windows Phone 8 that will add FM radio support for the Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia Lumia 920, and other compatible devices. Nokia is also expected to add a firmware update that will allow users to double-tap the screen to wake the device from standby.
Skype for Windows Phone 8 Updated with HD Video & People Hub Integration
Version 2.4 update for Skype was released today. They have significantly improved video calling quality for all users, offering VGA video on lower end handsets and 720P HD on higher-end devices like the Nokia Lumia 920. Skype contacts will also be listed in the People Hub for users with the latest update to Windows Phone 8.

Spotify for Windows Phone 8 About to Go Live?
It’s annoying that Spotify is available for Windows Phone 7.5 devices, but nowhere to be seen on Windows Phone 8 devices. There may be some good news though. A Device Portfolio Manager for Three UK tweeted earlier today that he had it on good authority that Spotify will be coming soon to Windows Phone 8.

Nokia Drive Now Available to All Windows Phone 8 Devices
Nokia Drive beta is now available at the Windows Phone store for all Windows phone 8 users. It’s no longer exclusive to Nokia Lumia devices. HTC 8X and Samsung Ativ users can now use the app for free turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation and offline maps.

Verizon’s Nokia Lumia 822 Pre-Orders Start Nov 9th
The Nokia Lumia 822 exclusive for Verizon Wireless customers will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, November 9, at 1am ET. It will be compatible with the network’s 4G LTE network. The colors available will be Black, White and Grey for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new two year contract.
