Nokia Lumia 800 Spotted on the Xbox Dashboard
Some Xbox gamers are seeing Nokia Lumia 800 advertisements on their dashboard. It could be regional since I’m not seeing it on mine. This isn’t the first time Nokia advertised on this spot. We’ve seen the Nokia N900 here before. Twitpic photo after the jump.
Nokia N900 Featured on Xbox 360
I turned on my Xbox 360 this afternoon and was surprised to see the Nokia N900 as one of the spotlights on the dashboard. It goes to a page that explains how awesome the Maemo device is with fast processor, big memory, and powerful web browser. They also provide an introduction video similar to what we’ve seen before as well as a theme and avatar photos to customize the Xbox.
Rumor: Nokia Looking To Port Ngage Games To Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network
Aki Jarvilehto from Nokia told a panel at Develop Mobile 2008 conference that they are looking to expand their Ngage games into other platforms. He said they are looking into “concepts where we use the same assets for Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Online.” This is interesting because it could mean that I can play a game on my phone, save my stats, then continue playing on the Xbox when I get home.
