Last week, my team visited Seoul to meet AWS Korea User Group (AWSKRUG) leaders. AWSKRUG is the largest cloud developer community in Korea, with 20 meetup groups organized by topic and area that collectively host over 100 events each year, primarily in Seoul.

My team regularly visits countries across the Asia-Pacific region, listens to feedback from user group leaders, and works to support their communities. At this meeting, leaders honestly shared what they did well in the first half of the year, what needs improvement, and what they asked of AWS Developer Experience team. We also enjoyed a pleasant conversation during our Chimaek time together.

Now, let’s take a closer look at key launches of last week.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

A one-click Lambda setup prompt for coding agents caught my eye most last week. This prompt configures your agent with AWS Serverless skills and the Serverless Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, embedding serverless best practices from the start. This prompt references the Lambda agent setup guide, which includes installation commands for Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Devin Desktop, and OpenCode.

To get started, choose the Copy agent prompt button on the Lambda console screen or copy
fetch https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lambda/latest/dg/samples/aws-lambda-agent-setup.md
directly, and paste this URL in your preferred AI agent.

You can also use Agent Toolkit for AWS to give your coding agent current AWS knowledge and safe resource access. Use
fetch https://raw.githubusercontent.com/aws/agent-toolkit-for-aws/refs/heads/main/setup-instructions/setup.md
for installing AWS MCP Server.

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

Last week’s launches

Here are last week’s launches that caught my attention:

OpenAI GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna on Amazon Bedrock: You can use the smartest family of models from OpenAI yet on Bedrock’s next-generation inference engine built for high performance, security, and reliability. The three models span capability tiers from flagship reasoning (Sol) to balanced performance (Terra) to fast, cost-efficient inference (Luna), all accessible through the Responses API on Amazon Bedrock.

Same-day transitions to Amazon S3 Standard-IA and S3 One Zone-IA: You can now transition objects to S3 Standard-Infrequent Access (S3 Standard-IA) and S3 One Zone-Infrequent Access (S3 One Zone-IA) as soon as the day they are created, without the previous 30-day minimum retention period in S3 Standard. These storage classes offer up to 40% lower storage costs than S3 Standard while still providing millisecond access when needed, making them ideal for backups, log analytics, and compliance workloads where data becomes cold within hours or days.

Self-managed code storage on AWS Lambda: With self-managed Amazon S3 buckets for code storage, you can reference source code directly from your own S3 buckets without Lambda creating intermediate copies. This eliminates code storage limits and reduces function activation time after function creates and updates by removing the copy step.

Importing users with password hashes on Amazon Cognito: You can now import users with password hashes in CSV user imports. Previously, imported users had to reset their passwords on first sign-in. Now, you can include password hashes in the CSV import, enabling users to sign in immediately with their existing credentials. When creating a CSV import, you specify the password hashing algorithm used by your source system.

For a full list of AWS announcements, be sure to keep an eye on the What’s New with AWS page.

Additional updates

Here are some additional news items that you might find interesting:

Amazon SQS turns 20: Two decades of reliable messaging at scale: When Amazon SQS launched publicly in July 2006, it made this pattern available to every AWS customer. Twenty years later, that core function, decoupling producers from consumers, remains the reason customers use SQS. Let’s look back important milestones after Jeff’s 15th anniversary post.

Open Protocols with the Strands Agents SDK: Learn how open AI protocols such as MCP, A2A, UTCP, AG-UI, and x402 work together using Strands Agents SDK for building AI agents as an example implementation, though the patterns apply to any agent framework.

Open source Bulk Executor for Amazon DynamoDB: Performing bulk operations against all items in a DynamoDB table has historically required custom coding. The Bulk Executor for DynamoDB simplifies bulk tasks like these. You can use this feature to invoke commands like
count
,
find
,
delete
, or
update
. No coding is required, even when running at large scale.

Transform AWS Support Case Workflows with Kiro CLI: Explore how Kiro CLI’s MCP integration accelerates support case workflows by combining investigation, documentation lookup, and case creation into a single conversational interface across three real-world scenarios: AWS Glue job failures, AWS Lambda cold start investigation, and AWS WAF false positive analysis.

For a full list of AWS blog posts, be sure to keep an eye on the AWS Blogs page.

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

Learn more about AWS, browse and join upcoming AWS-led in-person and virtual events, startup events, and developer-focused events including AWS Summits. Join the AWS Builder Center to connect with builders, share solutions, and access content that supports your development.

Finally, some customers experienced an issue with Cost Explorer displaying inaccurate estimated billing data in last weekend. They may have received erroneous budget and cost anomaly detection alerts, and observed inflated estimated cost and usage data. The issue has been resolved, and all AWS services are operating normally. We apologize for the concern this incident caused our customers and are conducting a thorough retrospective to prevent events like this from reoccurring, as well as improving our response when billing incidents occur. For more information, visit the AWS Health Dashboard.

That’s all for this week. Check back next Monday for another Weekly Roundup!

Today at the AWS Summit in New York City, Swami Sivasubramanian, AWS VP of Agentic AI, provided the day’s keynote.

Here’s our roundup of the biggest announcements from the event:

New in agents customers create

We’re introducing new capabilities on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore: connecting AI agents to organizational, web, and paid knowledge, helping teams find and fix what’s going wrong in production, and enforcing controls that scale as agents grow more capable.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

Together, these capabilities help you build more capable agents faster, govern those agents with controls that scale, and improve them continuously. To learn more, read our blog post covering all the new features.

Introducing Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base for faster, more accurate enterprise AI applications — You can build enterprise RAG pipelines with the managed Knowledge Base on Bedrock. It provides native data connectors, Smart Parsing for automatic multi-format data preparation, and an Agentic Retriever for complex multi-step queries—all integrated with AgentCore Gateway so developers can focus on business outcomes rather than infrastructure management.

Announcing Web Search on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore: Ground your AI agents in current, accurate web knowledge — You can use a fully managed web search tool that enables agents to ground responses in current, cited web knowledge with zero data egress from customer’ secured AWS environment. You can focus on building agents instead of manually adding web search to agents on Bedrock AgentCore and managing its infrastructure.

AWS WAF adds AI traffic monetization capability to help content owners charge AI bots for content access — You can use a new Bot Control capability that enables content providers and publishers price, meter, and collect payment from AI bots and agents accessing their content and APIs. AWS WAF now lets you set a price for that access, accept payment through third-party providers, and grant scoped access directly at the edge.

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore harness in now generally available — You can do building and running production-grade AI agents in minutes—without coding orchestration loops—by defining your agent’s model, tools, skills, and instructions in configuration, with Bedrock AgentCore harness.

Coming soon: AWS Context — This is a new service that automatically maps the relationships across your existing data into a knowledge graph and provides agentic search so AI agents in the organization can access governed data relationships, business rules, and domain knowledge at runtime.

New in agents for securing

Introducing AWS Continuum: Security at machine speed — AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities, available in a gated preview, takes findings from across your environment, prioritizes by business impact, proves which are exploitable, and drives a fix through your own process.

AWS Security Agent (now part of AWS Continuum) adds threat modeling, Kiro power and Claude Code plugin, and more — You can generate the new threat modeling (preview) to understand the full context of your application and identify threats with recommended mitigations using the STRIDE framework. You can also use pull request code scanning with remediation across major Git platforms, and IDE integrations via Kiro power, Claude Code plugin, and MCP — letting developers run security reviews and fix issues without context switching.

New in agents for building

Introducing Kiro for iOS — Kiro introduces a native iOS app, available in a gated preview, built for real engineering work that gives developers a new surface to kick off, monitor, steer, and interact with their Kiro sessions directly from their phone. That means you can now start sessions, check back when they’re done, review diffs, and approve changes all while staying connected to your work with no laptop running.

AWS DevOps Agent adds release management capabilities to assess code changes before production — You can use a new release readiness review of code changes and autonomous release testing. These new features verify every change against the natural language standards you give to the DevOps Agent and run change-specific tests in production-like environments.

Proactively reduce tech debt autonomously with AWS Transform – continuous modernization — You can use continuous analysis (preview) to automatically scan your code repositories against configurable baselines and generates findings in hours, not weeks. Once you’ve identified and prioritized findings, you can configure autonomous remediations that generate pull requests for affected repositories automatically.

AWS WAF now includes AI traffic monetization capability that gives digital content owners and publishers a way to charge AI bots and agents for access to protected web content directly at the network edge. The capability helps content owners and publishers set per-request pricing by content path, bot category, or verification tier without modifying their origin infrastructure or writing application code. Content owners can define granular access policies per agent type, collect payments in stablecoins to their preferred wallet, and monitor revenue and bot activity from a single dashboard.

AI bot traffic now accounts for more than 50% of web traffic for many content providers, with AI-specific crawlers growing more than 300% year-over-year. Unlike traditional search engine crawlers, which index content and return measurable referral traffic back to publisher websites, AI bots consume the same content to generate summaries and responses in AI interfaces, with little to no traffic sent back to the original source. Publishers bear the infrastructure costs of serving that traffic without the page views, ad impressions, or subscription conversions that typically offset those costs. AWS WAF Bot Control already gives customers visibility into bot activity and the ability to block or rate-limit traffic, but setting pricing and collecting payment from AI agents has not been possible until now. AI traffic monetization is a new Bot Control capability that closes that gap, giving content owners and publishers a way to configure pricing rules directly through the AWS WAF console and collect payments from AI agents through third-party payment integrations, without building custom payment infrastructure or negotiating individual licensing agreements. Payment settlement and verification flows are provided by Coinbase’s x402 Facilitator. Integration with Stripe for direct account payments and Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) support is coming soon.

Getting Started with AI Traffic Monetization

Before configuring monetization, confirm that AWS WAF Bot Control is enabled at Common or Targeted level on the web ACL associated with your CloudFront distribution. Bot Control provides the agent classification that monetization rules depend on. If you have not set this up yet, visit Adding the AWS WAF Bot Control managed rule group to your web ACL documentation. In the AWS Management Console, go to WAF & Shield and choose Protection packs (web ACLs) in the left navigation pane to get started.

A protection pack is the core configuration unit for AI traffic monetization. It defines which content paths are monetized, what each agent verification tier is charged, which payment methods you accept, and what license terms apply. To create one, choose Create protection pack (web ACL).

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

In Tell us about your app, select one or more app categories that describe your content (for example, Content & publishing systems, E-commerce & transaction platforms, or Enterprise & business applications), and choose an App focus. AWS WAF uses these selections to recommend suitable security protections for your configuration.

In Select resources to protect, choose Add resources to associate regional or global resources such as CloudFront distributions with this protection pack. You can skip this step and add resources later.

In Choose initial protections, select from AWS WAF managed rule packages based on your app category and resource selections. You can also choose individual rules instead of packages.

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

In Name and describe, provide a name and optional description for the protection pack.

Optionally, expand Customize protection pack (web ACL) to configure additional settings including pricing tiers, payment methods, content scope, and license terms.

When finished, choose Create protection pack (web ACL).

Once your protection pack is in place, review the AI traffic analysis dashboard to understand the impact of AI bot traffic on your content before setting your pricing strategy. In the WAF & Shield console, go to AI traffic analysis in the left navigation pane. Select your protection pack (web ACL) from the dropdown to populate the dashboard.

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

The AI traffic analysis dashboard breaks down traffic into four categories visible in the bot traffic overview panel: All bot requests, AI bot requests, Verified AI bot traffic, and Unverified AI bot traffic. The dashboard surfaces infrastructure impact metrics including bandwidth consumed, estimated monthly cost, and peak request rates. A per-path heatmap shows which content paths receive the most AI bot activity by hour, giving you the data you need to make informed pricing decisions.

AWS WAF Bot Control classifies over 650 distinct AI bot and agent types including GPTBot, Claude-Web, and Perplexity-Bot, and assigns each a verification tier:

Verified — Agent identity confirmed through Web Bot Auth (WBA) Ed25519 cryptographic signature, or sourced from a documented IP range with a known set of user-agents and domain names.

Unverified — Agent recognized through user-agent matching, behavioral fingerprinting, and IP reputation, but identity not cryptographically confirmed.

Once you have reviewed your traffic patterns, return to Protection packs (web ACLs), select your protection pack from the list, and choose Configure AI monetization from the right panel to set pricing and access policies. Each protection pack defines the pricing, agent policies, accepted payment methods, and license terms that apply to a defined set of content paths. You can create multiple protection packs and apply different pricing to different content zones within the same distribution. Once created, associate the protection pack with your web ACL by opening the web ACL and choosing Add protection pack.

For each agent verification tier within the pack, you can assign one of six actions: Monetize (return a 402 with pricing), Allow (grant free access), Block (deny access entirely), Count (log without charging), CAPTCHA (present a puzzle to verify a human sender), or Challenge (run a silent check to verify the client is a browser, not a bot).

In the Edit monetization configuration page, configure the following:

Under Payment settlement, select one or more blockchain networks for stablecoin payments. Any wallet address on the supported networks is accepted, whether self-managed or hosted by a wallet provider such as Coinbase. For each network, provide your wallet address and set a Base price per page in USDC. You can add multiple networks using Add network. AWS does not process payments or take a fee on content revenue; disbursement is self-managed or managed by your wallet provider.

When a Monetize rule matches an incoming request, AWS WAF returns an HTTP 402 Payment Required response. The response body contains a machine-readable price manifest in JSON format using the x402 open protocol for machine-to-machine payments. The manifest includes the content price in USDC, accepted blockchain networks such as Base and Solana, the destination wallet address, the maximum payment timeout, and the payment scheme.

Any x402-compatible agent runtime can complete this flow autonomously. The client submits a signed payment authorization on their payment network of choice. AWS WAF verifies it, fetches the content, integrates with third-party facilitator services for settling the payment on-chain, and serves the response.

Note that the Monetize action is supported exclusively for web ACLs associated with Amazon CloudFront distributions. Adding a Monetize rule to a regional web ACL is not supported.

Since the Currency mode toggle is available directly in the monetization configuration page, you can switch between Real and Test mode at any time. Before going live, use test mode on non-production traffic to validate pricing, wallet configuration, and x402 payment flows. Note that test mode still enforces x402 payments, but those payments can be made on testnets such as Base Sepolia or Solana Devnet using test funds obtained from faucets such as faucet.circle.com. To activate test mode, toggle Currency mode to Test in your protection pack configuration. AWS WAF returns real price manifests and runs the full payment flow identically to production on the configured test chain. All events are logged with
CurrencyMode: TEST
. When satisfied with the configuration, toggle Currency mode back to Real to begin processing real payments.

Once you have switched Currency mode to Real, navigate to AI access monetization in the left navigation pane to track monetization outcomes in real time. Note that the AI access monetization dashboard only reflects activity from real currency mode and does not display test transactions.

The Revenue dashboard shows Total revenue, revenue broken down by Verified bots and Unverified bots, and Avg. per request. The Top revenue sources panel groups earnings by bot category, and the AI access patterns panel ranks content paths by revenue generated. Use the Settlements tab to reconcile payments by provider and review payment method distribution and failed payment attempts.

Now Available

AI traffic monetization is available now for Amazon CloudFront customers at no additional charge beyond standard AWS WAF pricing. The capability is available in all edge locations where AWS WAF web ACLs are associated with Amazon CloudFront distributions.

As a developer advocate working with web and mobile application developers, I’ve often heard about the need to maintain consistent user authentication in the unlikely event of a regional service interruption. The increasing use of agentic AI, microservices, automation, and service accounts has sparked a similar need for machine-to-machine authentication. Today, I’m excited to share two important updates to Amazon Cognito: multi-Region replication for improved resilience, and support for customer managed keys for more control encryption control.

Many applications rely on Amazon Cognito to handle user and machine-to-machine authentication, and to manage user profiles. When building for high availability, having consistent data across different AWS Regions is a key approach, and until now, achieving that consistency came with significant challenges. Engineering teams spent significant time building and maintaining custom replication solutions to synchronize configurations across Regions. Manual export and import of user data between Regions created security risks from potential data exposure and introduced opportunities for data inconsistencies. During regional transitions, end users experienced disruptions like forced password resets and re-authentication. For machine-to-machine communications, teams had to create new app clients in the secondary region, which meant reconfiguring their applications and updating OAuth-protected resources to accept access tokens issued by the new regional issuer. These challenges made it difficult to maintain uninterrupted operations across Regions.

With multi-Region replication, Amazon Cognito automatically maintains a synchronized copy of your user data and machine secrets in a secondary AWS Region of your choice. The replication flows in one direction, from your primary Region to the secondary Region. This includes user profiles, credentials, and pool configurations. The secondary Region operates in read-only mode, focusing on maintaining authentication capabilities. Existing sessions continue uninterrupted.

When you need to direct traffic to the secondary Region, your existing users can continue signing in with their existing credentials without disruption, and currently signed-in users remain authenticated because both regions recognize access tokens issued by either region. Multi-Region replication supports all authentication methods, including federated sign-in through social providers (Amazon, Google, Apple, Facebook), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) and OpenID Connect (OIDC) integrations, and API authorization flows. This approach maintains availability for both customer-facing applications and machine-to-machine communications in your backend services. While authentication continues without interruption, operations like new user registration or profile updates are not available during failover.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

Before configuring multi-Region replication, you must configure a multi-Region customer managed key stored in AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) to encrypt your user data at rest. These keys provide consistent encryption across Regions while giving you control over your encryption strategy.

How this works in practice

I start this demo with an existing Cognito user pool in the
us-west-2
(Oregon) Region. I want to configure replication to
us-east-1
(Northern Virginia). I also have a customer managed key replicated in these two Regions.

Configuring multi-Region replication is just three steps. The AWS Management Console guides me through the steps: set up a custom key for encryption, configure multi-region OIDC endpoints, and configure the replication itself.

First, I set up a custom AWS KMS key to encrypt the data at rest.

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

I select the custom key I created. I also update the key policy to allow Amazon Cognito to access and use the key. The console shows the correct IAM policy statements to add to my key policy.

The console confirms when the custom key is selected and correctly configured.

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

Second, I follow the console instructions to configure the OIDC issuer type. On Step 2 – optional, I choose Configure.

I make sure to update my client applications with these new endpoints. This is a required change that will need a redeployment of server-side applications and an update submission for mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play. If I don’t update the endpoints, my users will experience disruptions because requests to the old endpoints will no longer be routed correctly.

On the next screen, I select Updated. I take note of the new URLs. I confirm the changes and choose Change issuer type.

Finally, I select the target Region for replication. Only Regions where the custom encryption key is replicated are available for selection. After having chosen the target Region, I choose Create..

The service prepares the replication. The time needed depends on the amount of data in the user pool.

When the replicated user pool is ready, I manually Activate it.

The replication status becomes Active. It is ready to direct traffic to the replica.

Additional configurations

The console helps me to keep track of additional configurations I have to plan. When I’m using Lambda functions for custom authentication flows or SMS or email notifications, I must also deploy and configure these resources in the new Region.

Similarly, log streaming or AWS WAF configuration must be manually configured in the target Region before I start directing authentication traffic to it.

Health checks and failover

Both primary and secondary regional endpoints remain active and ready to serve your traffic at all times. To monitor system health and manage failovers, you design a strategy that aligns with your application’s specific requirements and security posture. You can implement health checks to monitor the status of authentication services in your primary Region and define criteria for when to initiate failover. These checks might look for error rates, latency patterns, or specific service alerts.

When your monitoring system detects issues meeting your failover criteria, you can redirect traffic to the secondary Region through DNS updates. This approach gives you control over the failover process while maintaining security. Consider testing your failover strategy during off-peak hours by redirecting a small portion of traffic to verify that authentication continues working as expected in the secondary Region.

When using managed login and federation with custom domains, you can also use the built-in traffic routing feature by providing an Amazon Route 53 health check ID.

Pricing and availability

Multi-Region replication is available today as an add-on feature for Amazon Cognito customers using Essentials and Plus tier. For user authentication, the add-on costs $0.0045 per monthly active user per replica Region for Essentials tier customers and $0.006 per monthly active user per replica region for Plus tier customers. For machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication, the add-on is a 30% charge on top of the standard volume-based pricing for successful tokens issued. For detailed pricing information, see Amazon Cognito pricing.

Multi-Region replication is available in the following Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, Stockholm), and South America (São Paulo).

Any of these Regions can be used as the source or the destination for the replication.

Support for customer managed keys is available for the Essentials and Plus tiers. It is available in the following Regions: US East (Ohio, N. Virginia), US West (N. California, Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Hyderabad, Jakarta, Malaysia, Melbourne, Mumbai, New Zealand, Osaka, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Thailand, Tokyo), Canada (Central), Canada West (Calgary), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Milan, Paris, Spain, Stockholm, Zurich), Israel (Tel Aviv), Mexico (Central), South America (São Paulo), and AWS GovCloud (US-East, US-West)

From my conversations with customers, maintaining business continuity during regional incidents while meeting security requirements is a high priority. Multi-Region replication provides the capability to build more resilient applications without managing complex replication logic yourself. The automatic synchronization of user data and configurations reduces operational overhead while maintaining security.

For customers in regulated industries, the new support for customer managed keys provides additional control over data encryption. You can now use your own encryption keys to protect user data at rest, helping you meet regulatory requirements in industries like healthcare and financial services.

To get started with multi-Region replication and customer managed key encryption, visit the Amazon Cognito console or see the documentation for detailed setup instructions. I look forward to hearing how you use this feature to strengthen your application architecture.

Today we’re expanding Amazon CloudWatch capabilities to unify and manage log data across operational, security, and compliance use cases with flexible and powerful analytics in one place and with reduced data duplication and costs.

This enhancement means that CloudWatch can automatically normalize and process data to offer consistency across sources with built-in support for Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) and Open Telemetry (OTel) formats, so you can focus on analytics and insights. CloudWatch also introduces Apache Iceberg compatible access to your data through Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) Tables, so that you can run analytics, not only locally but also using Amazon Athena, Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio, or any other Iceberg-compatible tool.

You can also correlate your operational data in CloudWatch with other business data from your preferred tools to correlate with other data. This unified approach streamlines management and provides comprehensive correlation across security, operational, and business use cases.

Here are the detailed enhancements:

Streamline data ingestion and normalization – CloudWatch automatically collects AWS vended logs across accounts and AWS Regions, integrating with AWS Organizations from AWS services including AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) Flow Logs, AWS WAF access logs, Amazon Route 53 resolver logs, and pre-built connectors for third-party sources such as endpoint (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), identity (Okta, Entra ID), cloud security (Wiz), network security (Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks), productivity and collaboration (Microsoft Office 365, Windows Event Logs, and GitHub), along with IT service manager with ServiceNow CMBD. To normalize and process your data as they are being ingested, CloudWatch offers managed OCSF conversion for various AWS and third-party data sources and other processors such as Grok for custom parsing, field-level operations, and string manipulations.

Reduce costly log data management – CloudWatch consolidates log management into a single service with built-in governance capabilities without storing and maintaining multiple copies of the same data across different tools and data stores. The unified data store of CloudWatch eliminates the need for complex ETL pipelines and reduces your operational costs and management overhead needed to maintain multiple separate data stores and tools.

Discover business insights from log data – You can run queries in CloudWatch using natural language queries and popular query languages such as LogsQL, PPL, and SQL through a single interface, or query your data using your preferred analytics tools through Apache Iceberg-compatible tables. The new Facets interface gives you intuitive filtering by source, application, account, region, and log type, which you can use to run queries across log groups of multiple AWS accounts and Regions with intelligent parameter inference.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

In the next sections we explore the new log management and analytics features of the CloudWatch Logs!

1. Data discovery and management by data sources and types

You can see a high-level overview of logs and all data sources with a new Logs Management View in the CloudWatch console. To get started, go to the CloudWatch console and choose Log Management under the Logs menu in the left navigation pane. In the Summary tab, you can observe your logs data sources and types, insights into how your log groups are doing across ingestion, and anomalies.

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

Choose the Data sources tab to find and manage your log data by data sources, types, and fields. CloudWatch ingests and automatically categorizes data sources by AWS services, third-party, or custom sources such as application logs.

Choose the Data source actions to integrate S3 Tables to make future logs for selected data sources. You have the flexibility to analyze the logs through Athena and Amazon Redshift and other query engines such as Spark using Iceberg compatible access patterns. With this integration, logs from CloudWatch are available in a read-only
aws-cloudwatch
S3 Tables bucket.

When you choose a specific data source such as CloudTrail data, you can view the details of the data source that includes information regarding data format, pipeline, facets/field indexes, S3 Tables association, and the number of logs with that data source. You can observe all log groups included in this data source and type and edit a source/type field index policy using the new schema support.

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

To learn more about how to manage your data sources and index policy, visit Data sources in the Amazon CloudWatch Logs User Guide.

2. Ingestion and transformation using CloudWatch pipelines

You can create pipelines to streamline collecting, transforming, and routing telemetry and security data while standardizing data formats to optimize observability and security data management. The new pipeline feature of CloudWatch connects data from a catalogue of data sources, so that you can add and configure pipeline processors from a library to parse, enrich, and standardize data.

In the Pipeline tab, choose Add pipeline. It shows you the pipeline configuration wizard. This wizard guides you through five steps where you can choose the data source and other source details such as log source types, configure destination, configure up to 19 processors to perform an action on your data (such as filtering, transforming, or enriching), and finally review and deploy the pipeline.

You also have the option to create pipelines through the new Ingestion experience in CloudWatch. To learn more about how to set up and manage the pipelines, visit Pipelines in the Amazon CloudWatch Logs User Guide.

3. Enhanced analytics and querying based on data sources

You can enhance analytics with support for Facets and querying based on data sources. Facets enable interactive exploration and drill-down into logs and their values are automatically extracted based on the selected time period.

Choose the Facets tab in the Log Insights under the Logs menu in the left navigation pane. You can view available facets and values that appear in the panel. Choose one or more facets and values to interactively explore your data. I choose Facets regarding a VPC Flow Logs group and action, query to list the five most frequent patterns in my VPC Flow Logs through the AI query generator, and get the result patterns.

You can save your query with the selected Facets and values that you have specified. When you next choose your saved query, the logs to be queried have the pre-specified facets and values. To learn more about Facet management, visit Facets in the CloudWatch Logs User Guide.

As I previously noted, you can integrate data sources into S3 Tables and query together. For example, using a Query Editor in Athena, you can query correlates network traffic with AWS API activity from a specific IP range (
174.163.137.*
) by joining VPC Flow Logs with CloudTrail logs based on matching source IP addresses.

This type of integrated search is particularly valuable for security monitoring, incident investigation, and suspicious behavior detection. You can view if an IP that’s making network connections is also performing sensitive AWS operations such as creating users, modifying security groups, or accessing data.

To learn more, visit S3 Tables integration with CloudWatch in the CloudWatch Logs User Guide.

Now available

New log management features of Amazon CloudWatch are available today in all AWS Regions except the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions and China Regions. For Regional availability and future roadmap, visit the AWS Capabilities by Region. There are no upfront commitments or minimum fees, and you pay for the usage of existing CloudWatch Logs for data ingestion, storage, and queries. To learn more, visit the CloudWatch pricing page.

Give it a try in the CloudWatch console. To learn more, visit the CloudWatch product page and send feedback to AWS re:Post for CloudWatch Logs or through your usual AWS Support contacts.

Now a tradition, the blog team wrote a re:Cap post to summarize the announcements and link to some of the top blog posts.

To further summarize, several new security innovations were announced, including enhanced IAM Access Analyzer capabilities, MFA enforcement for root users, and threat intelligence integration with AWS Network Firewall. Other notable updates include exportable public SSL/TLS certificates from AWS Certificate Manager, a simplified AWS WAF console experience, and a new AWS Shield feature for proactive network security (in preview). Additionally, AWS Security Hub has been enhanced for risk prioritization (Preview), and Amazon GuardDuty now supports Amazon EKS clusters.

But my favorite announcement came from the Amazon Verified Permissions team. They released an open source package for Express.js, enabling developers to implement external fine-grained authorization for web application APIs. This simplifies authorization integration, reducing code complexity and improving application security.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

The team also published a blog post that outlines how to create a Verified Permissions policy store, add Cedar and Verified Permissions authorisation middleware to your app, create and deploy a Cedar schema, and create and deploy Cedar policies. The Cedar schema is generated from an OpenAPI specification and formatted for use with the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI).

Let’s look at last week’s other new announcements.

Last week’s launches
Apart from re:Inforce, here are the launches that got my attention.

Kafka customers use Avro and Protobuf formats for efficient data storage, fast serialization and deserialization, schema evolution support, and interoperability between different programming languages. They utilize schema registries to manage, evolve, and validate schemas before data enters processing pipelines. Previously, you were required to write custom code within your Lambda function to validate, deserialize, and filter events when using these data formats. With this launch, Lambda natively supports Avro and Protobuf, as well as integration with GSR, CCSR, and SCSR. This enables you to process your Kafka events using these data formats without writing custom code. Additionally, you can optimize costs through event filtering to prevent unnecessary function invocations.

Amazon S3 Express One Zone now supports atomic renaming of objects with a single API call – The
RenameObject
API simplifies data management in S3 directory buckets by transforming a multi-step rename operation into a single API call. This means you can now rename objects in S3 Express One Zone by specifying an existing object’s name as the source and the new name as the destination within the same S3 directory bucket. With no data movement involved, this capability accelerates applications like log file management, media processing, and data analytics, while also lowering costs. For instance, renaming a 1-terabyte log file can now complete in milliseconds, instead of hours, significantly accelerating applications and reducing costs.

Valkey introduces GLIDE 2.0 with support for Go, OpenTelemetry, and pipeline batching – AWS, in partnership with Google and the Valkey community, announces the general availability of General Language Independent Driver for the Enterprise (GLIDE) 2.0. This is the latest release of one of AWS’s official open-source Valkey client libraries. Valkey, the most permissive open-source alternative to Redis, is stewarded by the Linux Foundation and will always remain open-source. Valkey GLIDE is a reliable, high-performance, multi-language client that supports all Valkey commands

Valkey GLIDE 2.0 extends its multi-language support to Go (contributed by Google), joining Java, Python, and Node.js to provide a consistent, fully compatible API experience across all four languages. More language support is on the way. With this release, Valkey GLIDE now supports OpenTelemetry, an open-source, vendor-neutral framework that enables developers to generate, collect, and export telemetry data and critical client-side performance insights. Additionally, GLIDE 2.0 introduces batching capabilities, reducing network overhead and latency for high-frequency use cases by allowing multiple commands to be grouped and executed as a single operation.

Today, I’m happy to announce AWS Shield network security director (preview), a capability that simplifies identification of configuration issues related to threats such as SQL injections and distributed denial of service (DDoS) events, and proposes remediations. This feature identifies and analyzes network resources, connections, and configurations. It compares them against AWS best practices to create a network topology that highlights resources requiring protection.

Organizations today face significant challenges in maintaining a robust network security posture. Security teams often struggle to efficiently discover all resources in their environments, understand how these resources are interconnected, and identify which security services are currently configured. Additionally, they find determining how well resources are configured relative to AWS best practices requires considerable expertise and effort. Many teams find it difficult to identify which network security services and rule sets would best protect their applications from common and emerging threats.

AWS Shield network security director addresses these challenges through three key capabilities. First, it performs comprehensive analysis to discover resources across your AWS accounts, identify connectivity between resources, and determine which network security services and configurations are currently in place. Second, it prioritizes resources by severity level based on AWS network security best practices and threat intelligence. Finally, it provides specific remediation recommendations such as step-by-step instructions for implementing the right AWS security services, including AWS WAF, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) security groups, and Amazon VPC network access control lists (ACLs) to protect your resources.

The service supports critical network security use cases, including protecting applications against internet-born threats and controlling human access to resources based on port, protocol, or IP address range. It provides network analysis to discover assets and delivers analysis that eliminates time-consuming manual processes for identifying resources that need protection. The service offers resource prioritization by assigning security findings a severity level based on network context and adherence to AWS best practices, helping you focus on what matters most. Additionally, it supplies actionable recommendations with specific guidance on which services and configurations will address each security gap. You can also get answers, in natural language, from AWS Shield network security director from within Amazon Q Developer in the AWS Management Console and chat applications.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

Getting started with AWS Shield network security director
To use AWS Shield network security director, I need to initiate a network analysis of my AWS resources. I go to the AWS WAF & Shield console and choose Getting started under AWS Shield network security director in the navigation pane. I choose Get started, which takes me to the configuration page. On this page, I can choose how to perform my first network analysis: I can assess findings from across all supported Regions or from my current Region only. I select Start network analysis.

After the analysis is completed, the dashboard page shows a breakdown of resource types by severity level and the most common categories of network security findings associated with their resources. Resources are categorized by type and severity level (critical, high, medium, low, informational), making it easy to identify which areas need immediate attention.

I can use Resource overview to review a specific severity level, which will redirect me to the Resources under Network security director with the associated severity level filter. I choose the resources that have Medium severity level.

I choose a specific resource to view its network topology map showing how it connects to other resources and associated findings. This visualization helps me understand the potential impact of security configurations and identify exposed paths. I review detailed findings such as “Allows unrestricted inbound access (0.0.0.0/0) on all ports” with severity ratings.

For each finding, I receive detailed information and recommended remediation steps. The service rates the severity of findings (high, medium, low) to help me prioritize my response. Critical-severity findings such as “CloudFront origin is also internet accessible without CloudFront protections” or high-severity findings such as “Allows unrestricted inbound access (0.0.0.0/0) on all ports” are presented first, followed by medium- and low-severity issues.

You can analyze your network security configurations, in natural language, with AWS Shield network security director within Amazon Q Developer in the AWS Management Console and chat applications. For example, you can say “Do I have any network security issues on my CloudFront distributions?” or “Are any of my resources vulnerable to bots and scrapers?” This integration helps security teams quickly understand their security posture and receive guidance on implementing best practices without having to navigate through extensive documentation.

To explore this capability, I ask “What are my most critical network security issues?” in the Explore with Amazon Q section. Amazon Q analyzes my network security configuration and generates a response based on the security assessment of my AWS environment.

Today, we’re announcing a new simplified onboarding experience for Amazon CloudFront that developers can use to accelerate and secure their web applications in seconds. This new experience, along with improvements to the AWS WAF console experience, makes it easier than ever for developers to configure content delivery and security services without requiring deep technical expertise.

Setting up content delivery and security for web applications traditionally required navigating multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and making numerous configuration decisions. With this new CloudFront onboarding experience, developers can now create a fully configured distribution with DNS and a TLS certificate in just a few clicks.

Amazon CloudFront offers compelling benefits for organizations of all sizes looking to deliver content and applications globally. As a content delivery network (CDN), CloudFront significantly improves application performance by serving content from edge locations closest to your users, reducing latency and improving user experience. Beyond performance, CloudFront provides built-in security features that protect your applications from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks and other threats at the edge, preventing malicious traffic from reaching your origin infrastructure. The service automatically scales with your traffic demands without requiring any manual intervention, handling both planned and unexpected traffic spikes with ease. Whether you’re running a small website or a large-scale application, the CloudFront integration with other AWS services and the new simplified console experience makes it easier than ever to implement these essential capabilities for your web applications.

Streamlined CloudFront configuration

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

The new CloudFront console experience guides developers through a simplified workflow that starts with the domain name they want to use for their distribution. When using Amazon Route 53, the experience automatically handles TLS certificate provisioning and DNS record configuration, while incorporating security best practices by default. This unified approach eliminates the need to switch between multiple services like AWS Certificate Manager, Route 53, and AWS WAF, and offers developers a faster time to production without the need to dive deep on the nuanced configuration options of each service.

For example, a developer can now create a secure CloudFront distribution for their applications fronted by a load balancer by entering their domain name and selecting their load balancer as the origin. The console automatically recommends optimal CDN and security configurations based on the application type and requirements, and developers can deploy with confidence knowing they’re following AWS best practices.

For developers who wish to host a static website on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), CloudFront provides several important benefits. First, it improves your website’s performance by caching content at edge locations closer to your users, reducing latency and improving page load times. Second, it helps protect your S3 bucket by acting as a security layer—CloudFront can be configured to be the only way to access your content, preventing direct access to your S3 bucket. The new experience automatically configures these security best practices for you.

Enhanced security integration with AWS WAF

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

Complementing the new CloudFront experience, we’re also introducing an improved AWS WAF console that features intelligent Rule Packs—curated sets of security rules based on application type and security requirements. These Rule Packs enable developers to implement comprehensive security controls without needing to be security experts.

When creating a CloudFront distribution, developers can now enable AWS WAF protection through an integrated experience that uses these new Rule Packs. The console provides clear recommendations for security configurations that developers can use to preview and validate their settings before deployment.

Web applications face numerous security threats today, including SQL injection attacks, cross-site scripting (XSS), and other OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. With the new AWS WAF integration, you automatically get protection against these common attack vectors. The recommended Rule Packs provide immediate protection against malicious bot traffic, common web exploits, and known bad actors while preventing direct-to-origin attacks that could overwhelm your infrastructure.

Let’s take a look

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

If you’ve ever created an Amazon CloudFront distribution, you’ll immediately notice that things have changed. The new experience is straightforward to follow and understand. For my example, I chose to create a distribution for a static website using Amazon S3 as my origin.

In Step 1, I give my distribution a name and select from Single website or app or the new Multi-tenant architecture option, which I can use to configure distributions that use multiple domains but share a common configuration. I choose Single website or app and enter an optional domain name. With the new experience, I can use the Check domain button to verify I have my domain as a Route 53 zone file.

Next, I select the origin for the distribution, which is where CloudFront will fetch the content to serve and cache. For my Origin type, I select Amazon S3. As the preceding screenshot shows, there are several additional options to choose from. Each of the options is designed to make configuration as straightforward as possible for the most popular use cases. Next, I select my S3 bucket, either by typing in the bucket name or using the Browse S3 button.

Next, I have several settings related to using Amazon S3 as my origin. The Grant CloudFront access to origin option is an important one. This option (selected by default) will update my S3 bucket policy to allow CloudFront to access my bucket and will configure my bucket for origin access control. This way, I can use a completely private bucket and know that assets in my bucket can only be accessed through CloudFront. This is a critical step to keeping my bucket and assets secure.

In the next step, I’m presented with the option to configure AWS WAF. With AWS WAF enabled, my web servers are better protected because it inspects each incoming request for potential threats before allowing them to make their way to my web servers. There is a cost to enabling AWS WAF, and as you can see in the following screenshot, there is a calculator to help estimate additional charges.

Now available

The new CloudFront onboarding experience and enhanced AWS WAF console are available today in all AWS Regions where these services are offered. You can start using these new features through the AWS Management Console. There are no additional charges for using these new experiences—you pay only for the CloudFront and AWS WAF resources you use, based on their respective pricing models.

To learn more about the new CloudFront onboarding experience and AWS WAF improvements, visit the Amazon CloudFront Documentation and AWS WAF Documentation. Start building faster, more secure web applications today with these simplified experiences.

Today marks the start of AWS re:Inforce 2025, where security professionals are gathering for three days of technical learning sessions, workshops, and demonstrations. This security-focused conference brings together AWS security specialists who build and maintain the services that organizations rely on for their cloud security needs.

AWS Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Amy Herzog will deliver the conference keynote along with guest speakers who will share new security capabilities and implementation insights. The event offers multiple learning paths with sessions designed for various technical roles and expertise levels. Many of my colleagues from across AWS are leading hands-on workshops, demonstrating new security features, and facilitating community discussions. For those unable to join us in Philadelphia, the keynote and innovation talks will be viewable by livestream during the event, and available to watch on demand after the event. Look out for the key announcements and technical insights from the conference in upcoming posts!

Let’s look at last week’s new announcements.

Last week’s launches
Here are the launches that got my attention.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

Extend Amazon Q Developer IDE plugins with MCP tools – Amazon Q Developer now supports Model Context Protocol (MCP) in its integrated development environment (IDE) plugins, helping developers integrate external tools for enhanced contextual development workflows. You can now augment the built-in tools with any MCP server that supports the stdio transport layer. These servers can be managed within the Amazon Q Developer user interface. This makes it easy to add, remove, and modify tool permissions. The integration enables more customized responses by orchestrating tasks across both native and MCP server-based tools. MCP support is available in Visual Studio Code and JetBrains IDE plugins, as well as in the Amazon Q Developer command line interface (CLI), with detailed documentation and implementation guides available in the Amazon Q Developer documentation.

AWS WAF now supports automatic application layer DDoS protection – AWS has enhanced its application layer (L7) distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection capabilities with faster automatic detection and mitigation that responds to events within seconds. This AWS Managed Rules group automatically detects and mitigates DDoS attacks of any duration to keep applications running on Amazon CloudFront, Application Load Balancer, and other AWS WAF supported services available to users. The system establishes a baseline within minutes of activation using machine learning (ML) models to detect traffic anomalies, then automatically applies rules to address suspicious requests. Configuration options help you customize responses such as presenting challenges or blocking requests. The feature is available to all AWS WAF and AWS Shield Advanced subscribers in all supported AWS Regions, except Asia Pacific (Thailand), Mexico (Central), and China (Beijing and Ningxia). To learn more about AWS WAF application layer (L7) DDoS protection, visit the AWS WAF documentation or the AWS WAF console.

AWS Control Tower now supports service-linked AWS Config managed AWS Config rules – AWS Control Tower now deploys service-linked AWS Config rules directly in managed accounts, replacing the previous CloudFormation StackSets deployment method. This change improves deployment speed when enabling service-linked AWS Config rules across multiple AWS Control Tower managed accounts and Regions. These service-linked rules are managed entirely by AWS services and can’t be edited or deleted by users. This helps maintain consistency and prevent configuration drift. AWS Control Tower Config rules detect resource noncompliance within accounts and provide alerts through the dashboard. You can deploy these controls using the AWS Control Tower console or AWS Control Tower control APIs.

Powertools for AWS Lambda introduces Bedrock Agents Function utility – The new Amazon Bedrock Agents Function utility in Powertools for AWS Lambda simplifies building serverless applications integrated with Amazon Bedrock Agents. This utility helps developers create AWS Lambda functions that respond to Amazon Bedrock Agents action requests with built-in parameter injection and response formatting, eliminating boilerplate code. The utility seamlessly integrates with other Powertools features like Logger and Metrics, making it easier to build production-ready AI applications. This integration improves the developer experience when building agent-based solutions that use AWS Lambda functions to process actions requested by Amazon Bedrock Agents. The utility is available in Python, TypeScript, and .NET versions of Powertools.

Today, I’m happy to announce the general availability of Amazon CloudFront SaaS Manager, a new feature that helps software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers, web development platform providers, and companies with multiple brands and websites efficiently manage delivery across multiple domains. Customers already use CloudFront to securely deliver content with low latency and high transfer speeds. CloudFront SaaS Manager addresses a critical challenge these organizations face: managing tenant websites at scale, each requiring TLS certificates, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, and performance monitoring.

With CloudFront Saas Manager, web development platform providers and enterprise SaaS providers who manage a large number of domains will use simple APIs and reusable configurations that use CloudFront edge locations worldwide, AWS WAF, and AWS Certificate Manager. CloudFront SaaS Manager can dramatically reduce operational complexity while providing high-performance content delivery and enterprise-grade security for every customer domain.

How it works
In CloudFront, you can use multi-tenant SaaS deployments, a strategy where a single CloudFront distribution serves content for multiple distinct tenants (users or organizations). CloudFront SaaS Manager uses a new template-based distribution model called a multi-tenant distribution to serve content across multiple domains while sharing configuration and infrastructure. However, if supporting single websites or application, a standard distribution would be better or recommended.

A template distribution defines the base configuration that will be used across domains such as origin configurations, cache behaviors, and security settings. Each template distribution has a distribution tenant to represent domain-specific origin paths or origin domain names including web access control list (ACL) overrides and custom TLS certificates.

Read moreHTML Element: select | Envato Tuts+

Optionally, multiple distribution tenants can use the same connection group that provides the CloudFront routing endpoint that serves content to viewers. DNS records point to the CloudFront endpoint of the connection group using a Canonical Name Record (CNAME).

To learn more, visit Understand how multi-tenant distributions work in the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

CloudFront SaaS Manager in action
I’d like to give you an example to help you understand the capabilities of CloudFront SaaS Manager. You have a company called MyStore, a popular e-commerce platform that helps your customer easily set up and manage an online store. MyStore’s tenants already enjoy outstanding customer service, security, reliability, and ease-of-use with little setup required to get a store up and running, resulting in 99.95 percent uptime for the last 12 months.

Read moreSkipping the WHM Getting Started Wizard | cPanel Blog

Customers of MyStore are unevenly distributed across three different pricing tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, and each customer is assigned a persistent
mystore.app
subdomain. You can apply these tiers to different customer segments, customized settings, and operational Regions. For example, you can add AWS WAF service in the Gold tier as an advanced feature. In this example, MyStore has decided not to maintain their own web servers to handle TLS connections and security for a growing number of applications hosted on their platform. They are evaluating CloudFront to see if that will help them reduce operational overhead.

Let’s find how as MyStore you configure your customer’s websites distributed in multiple tiers with the CloudFront SaaS Manager. To get started, you can create a multi-tenant distribution that acts as a template corresponding to each of the three pricing tiers the MyStore offers: Bronze, Sliver, and Gold shown in Multi-tenant distribution under the SaaS menu on the Amazon CloudFront console.

To create a multi-tenant distribution, choose Create distribution and select Multi-tenant architecture if you have multiple websites or applications that will share the same configuration. Follow the steps to provide basic details such as a name for your distribution, tags, and wildcard certificate, specify origin type and location for your content such as a website or app, and enable security protections with AWS WAF web ACL feature.

Read moreGone Phishing | cPanel Blog

When the multi-tenant distribution is created successfully, you can create a distribution tenant by choosing Create tenant in the Distribution tenants menu in the left navigation pane. You can create a distribution tenant to add your active customer to be associated with the Bronze tier.

Each tenant can be associated with up to one multi-tenant distribution. You can add one or more domains of your customers to a distribution tenant and assign custom parameter values such as origin domains and origin paths. A distribution tenant can inherit the TLS certificate and security configuration of its associated multi-tenant distribution. You can also attach a new certificate specifically for the tenant, or you can override the tenant security configuration.

When the distribution tenant is created successfully, you can finalize this step by updating a DNS record to route traffic to the domain in this distribution tenant and creating a CNAME pointed to the CloudFront application endpoint. To learn more, visit Create a distribution in the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

Now you can see all customers in each distribution tenant to associate multi-tenant distributions.

By increasing customers’ business needs, you can upgrade your customers from Bronze to Silver tiers by moving those distribution tenants to a proper multi-tenant distribution.

During the monthly maintenance process, we identify domains associated with inactive customer accounts that can be safely decommissioned. If you’ve decided to deprecate the Bronze tier and migrate all customers who are currently in the Bronze tier to the Silver tier, then you can delete a multi-tenant distribution to associate the Bronze tier. To learn more, visit Update a distribution or Distribution tenant customizations in the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

By default, your AWS account has one connection group that handles all your CloudFront traffic. You can enable Connection group in the Settings menu in the left navigation pane to create additional connection groups, giving you more control over traffic management and tenant isolation.

To learn more, visit Create custom connection group in the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

Now available
Amazon CloudFront SaaS Manager is available today. To learn about, visit CloudFront SaaS Manager product page and documentation page. To learn about SaaS on AWS, visit AWS SaaS Factory.

Give CloudFront SaaS Manager a try in the CloudFront console today and send feedback to AWS re:Post for Amazon CloudFront or through your usual AWS Support contacts.
