Vlog: Street View Comes to Google Maps on Nokia S60 Phones
December 10th, 2008 • Mark Guim • Filed Under •
Finally! Google today announced that street view is now available for S60 phones. Now you can actually see what the place looks like before you get there. I created a video demo to show you how it looks like on my Nokia N85.
Note: head to the blog if the video below is not visible in your RSS reader.
As you can see, Google Maps is a lot better now that we have street view on our S60 phones. You navigate around with the directional keys which is not as cool as navigating with a touchscreen. I wonder how it looks on the Nokia 5800′s touchscreen display? If you have one, let us know your experience.

Hello Mark. Is the googlemaps for US only? I put in my Australian mobile number using international format, +61411…… and 61411…., both say invalid number to send me the link. Which is bizarre, considering Australia is listed as one of the countries with Googlemaps for mobile. Also any bugs, fixes, software updates you are aware of? Thanks.
JordanL on 7 January 2009:
Or btw, its for my N85.
Mark Guim on 7 January 2009:
@JordanL, just go to m.google.com from your phone.

I am planning to give my wife a big surprise with tiffany and co as a birthday gift, but I don’t know which one to choose, any ideas?
I get this tiffany & co from my grandmother when she passed, but I would like to know if it’s definitely real, how can I do this?
