Nokia E72 Photos Preview
The Nokia E72 promises to improve on the previous model, the E71, but I wonder how the 5mp camera is going to perform. Fortunately, there are already some people carrying this slick device taking photos and sharing them on Flickr. I’m not sure if they’re allowed to, but those photos are available to the public if they knew how to look.
Clicking on the photos go to the Flickr page where they are stored.
Thoughts
Since the photos were probably taken from prototypes, the final quality may not necessarily be reproductive of the final version.
I’m sure you’ll agree when I say wow! The photos taken by the Nokia E72 look pretty good and seem much better than the E71. The other selling points of the E72 include a slim body, lifetime license to Nokia Messaging, and optical scrolling.
I think the E72 will be a hit for those who do plenty of messaging, want a good camera, and don’t really care for touchscreen. Hmmm… are you interested in this device?

hm… what about video recording quality ? pure 320 x 240 ? like E71 ?

Nokia E72 records 640×480 at 15fps. Not sure about the frame rate when it shoots 320×240 http://is.gd/1x9n8

I can't wait for this phone. I have the e71 and my 2 complains are:
The headphone jack (small size)
and the camera – Every picture I take is purple, it's terribly annoying.

I'm not sure if this spec is correct, Nokia have problem with specs for E71 (they are different for some sites for example in uk is different than nokia europe and nokia usa, look here http://tr.im/sEfK).
According forum.nokia.com E71x have 640×480 30fps, really ? (it is the same phone as E71 only with FP2 as I know…) So I'll wait for video samples.
