Nokia Calls Russian Authorities to Get Their Nokia N8 & Other Property From Eldar Murtazin

Nokia is determined to protect its property and has asked the Russian authorities to assist them in the return of all unauthorized Nokia property from mobile blogger, Eldar Murtazin. Nokia wants to be clear that this action isn’t a response to Eldar’s recent criticisms of the company.

Murtazin got his hands on an early Nokia N8 prototype and criticized it on Mobile-Review. A day after the review, Nokia wrote on their official blog that they want their prototype back.

Nokia says that Eldar Murtazin declined to respond to their requests. Eldar says on his personal blog that he asked for clarification, but did not get a response.

Nokia added that Murtazin is very public about being a ‘consultant’ to other international mobile manufacturers. He also confirmed he is in possession of Nokia prototypes and other intellectual property. Nokia believes they have the right to protect itself and is prepared to take all appropriate and legal measures to get their property back.
