Framestore Releases New Videos about FX Studio – an App for Nokia N8

You already know that Framestore is working on a cool visual effects app for the Nokia N8, right? If you’re excited about it like me, then you’d also like to know that they’ve published new videos about mobile and web-based FX Studio that will allow you to add Hollywood-quality special effects to your video clips. The preview of the sample effects look great so far. Take a look.

‘An intro to FX Studio’

‘How it works on your phone’

‘Cannon test’

‘Ghost’

Headbanging Penguin

It’s going to be interesting how people are going to use this app on their new Nokia. The effects can be used in fun clips, but it isn’t hard to imagine an ambitious filmmaker create a short film with these effects.

  3. omg! that's f*ckin awesome!! this app is crazy! this is the kind of app nokia needs to attract people to head to ovi store to download apps…recently i see quite a few awesome apps on ovi store that i've seen on apple apps store like eg: doodle jump(i've downloaded to my n97 it and i love it!) angry birds(not for n97 though)…i really hope to see tap tap revenge appear on ovi store since nokia n8 is compatible with multitouch input love the game on the iphone…keep up the good work nokia!=D

  4. Honestly, this is a real app. Not that kind of things that grow like mushrooms in another over hyped competitor, this has quality :) Nice one Nokia

  5. hahaha i love it really
it increasing my passion for n8

  6. will we be able to make our own FX and input them for use with the app?

if we're just using whats available from framestore it seems it might be rather limited and end up just being a novelty

  7. The penguin is AWESOME …. LMAO

    Looove it

The application gonna be a HIT, hope it stays exclusive to Nokia
