Shazam for Symbian Re-designed

Shazam for Symbian just received a major re-design. If you are unfamiliar with the app, Shazam tells you more about the current music playing around you. For example, you love the song that’s playing at the bar, but you no idea who the artist is. Just open up Shazam and let it find out for you.

The re-design of the Shazam app makes it even easier to use. It opens straight to the tagging option on the home screen so music can be identified as quickly as possible. There are also three new features:

  • Search – by genre, album, track or artist
  • Sort – arrange your mobile music collection.
  • Car mode – this displays one, simple large Shazam button so that users can identify music on the radio with one touch.

As usual, Shazam can be downloaded for free at the Ovi Store with a 30-day unlimited free trial of features. Once the trial is up, users can pay 3.99 Euros per month to continue using unlimited tagging. The free Shazam app is limited to only 5 songs per month after the trial.
