All Nokia Phones with Glass Displays are Gorilla Glass

If you love the inclusion of Gorilla Glass on the Nokia N8, we have good news for you. All glass displays on Nokia phones will come from Gorilla Glass according to senior design manager for smartphones, Niilo Alfthan. He tweeted about the displays during a Nokia Design Q&A earlier this morning. Gorilla Glass is infamous because it is very hard to scratch or break, making those screen protectors obsolete.

    So… does that include the Nokia N900 (which I own)? I understand that Nokia uses the gorilla glass, but how far back (time line wise) in Nokia’s various production lines of products use this third party product?

      N900 has resistive touch screen so it’s not glass. And therefore it’s not Gorilla glass either.

      all phones with glass display, that does not include the plastic display of the N900

    Since Nokia X6 they have been using Gorilla Glass, so no for the N900
