Is this the Nokia 801?

Here’s an alleged photo of the Nokia 801, a Nokia Belle phone, according to SmartPhoneGeeks and mobile insider Eldar Murtazin. I am very skeptic about this rumor, but I think it’s worth sharing and discussing. It looks a lot like the Nokia Lumia 900 and 800 with the unibody polycarbonate material. Specs after the jump.
Rumored specs:
- 4-inches AMOLED ClearBlack Display
- 640 x 360 pixels resolution
- 1.4 GHz processor and 512MB RAM
- 12MP camera with dual-LED flash
- 1080P video recording
The photo was originally posted by SmartPhoneGeeks and later “confirmed” by Eldar Murtazin.
Nokia have recently used very similar hardware for different models, so this isn’t very surprising. For example, take a look at the Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 710 and the Symbian-based Nokia 603.
