Nokia Lumia 610 Now Available
The Nokia Lumia 610 is now available at Nokia stores in the Philippines. It’s the most affordable Lumia device that Nokia is offering and Philippines is the first country to get it. I visited a store today in Manila to see how they’re selling it.

I was surprised at how knowledgeable the store reps were about the Lumia devices. In NYC, most of the employees I talk to at carrier stores are clueless. I was impressed when the reps mentioned the camera specs, storage, and even the processor speeds on the Lumia devices.

The Nokia Lumia 610, 700, 800, and 900 were on display, but they only had working demos for the Lumia 610 and the Lumia 800. The Nokia Lumia 610 was being sold unlocked for 11,000 PHP. That’s about 260 USD. For comparison, they also started selling the unlocked Nokia Lumia 800 for 23,500 PHP (about 555 USD).
