Nokia Introduces Asha Touch Devices: Nokia Asha 305, 306, 311
Nokia just unveiled the new Asha Touch family of devices, taking the touchscreen experience to very low price points. There are 3 new phones -the Nokia Asha 305, Nokia Asha 306 and Nokia Asha 311, all of which features the Nokia Browser 2.0, a major recent update that uses Nokia’s cloud technology to reduce data consumption by up to 90%.
The Nokia Asha 311 features a 3-inch scratch resistant capacitive glass screen with polarization filters, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and a 1GHz processor. It will be pre-installed with Nokia Maps, Angry Birds, WhatsApp, and more. The Nokia Asha 311 will start shipping in the third quarter with an estimated retail price of EUR 92.
The Nokia Asha 305 is a dual SIM phone. It has a 3-inch resistive display and a 2-megapixel camera. The estimated retail price for Nokia Asha 305 is EUR 63 and it’s expected to start shipping in the second quarter of 2012.
The Nokia Asha 306 is practically the same as the Asha 305, but adds WiFi connectivity. It is also only single SIM instead of two. It is expected to ship in the third quarter for EUR 68.
All users will receive an exclusive gift of 40 EA games to download for free.
