Bar Fight! Nokia N82 vs. Nokia N95-3 vs. Nokia N95 8GB Photo Comparison

Take a look at the pictures Ninong Brown (new contributor) and I took using our Nokia N95-3, Nokia N95 8GB, and the Nokia N82 during our open-bar nights at Calico Jack’s here in New York City. No charts, tripods, color tests, line tests, or other professional comparison tests here. Just simple snap and shoot, the evening image test for the rest of us. Let’s see the differences.

Thoughts

Because all the photos in this test were taken at night, the Nokia N82 definitely performed better using the Xenon flash. With that in mind, the Nokia N95-3 and N95 8GB pictures were not completely horrible neither. I also noticed that the Nokia N95 8GB processed images just as fast as the Nokia N82 with the Nokia N95-3 a little slower.

Image quality aside, I noticed the Nokia N95 8GB got the most attention, while the N82 was ignored pretty quick. The candybar form factor was no match to the Nokia N95s’ dual slider.

so overall, n95 8gb won.. well, it was expected =)
    [no offence]
  • I disagree. The N82's photos are brighter and provide better picture than the Nokia N95's at night.
  • Hmm... based on this test, I'd say the N82 wins hands down. The image processing time is very important too. I am this far from clicking BUY. :D

oh please.. seriously.. even blind can see n82 so much moooooorrrrrrrrrreeeee farrr farrrr farrr betterrrrr than n95 or n95 whateverr...
  • Actually the blind can't see at all. :p But yeah N82 hands down is the winner.

I'd say N95's photos look more natural and not so bright or whitish, cause when you see you don't have xenon lights in your eyes haha, well just my opinion.

Don't be so quick on the draw, yes the N82 takes great pictures, which is why I bought one and not the n95 because my mate is now on his 5th. However my N82 has just decided the bluetooth is NOT turning on no matter what I do (battery out software update etc.) its broken. So just to put something on the other side of the table. I will infuture just avoid the damned N series phones!

in my opinion, the only one thing that is the problem of n82 is why it can't off the capture tone.. for somebody who know how to off the n82 capture tone please mail me at shark_krin_89@yahoo.com.my ..please..

The xenon flash give n82 the advantage compared with other phone. beside it's so easy to write the massage with it nice keypad.

The N95 8GB is the best phone ever made, it has got a huge 2.8 screen, it has got multmedia keys (for N GAGE gaming, or emulators, or whaterver you want because of magickey), it has got a decent keypad, and I love that lovely black color of my N95 8GB. Everything I do on my phone, I use the huge screen, and I love it!!!!!!!!
