Compass calibration on the Nokia N97 is a lot faster now. When I first got the Nokia N97, I complained about how long it takes the Nokia N97 to calibrate the compass. A video from Symbian World showed they did it in 3 seconds, but I was unable to reproduce the same result just by flicking my wrist. The trick was to turn off the auto-rotate sensor too.
