Today’s big news from Nokia is that they’re making walk and drive navigation free on their smartphones with the new version of Ovi Maps. These features used to cost extra. The new Ovi Maps is immediately available for download at nokia.com/maps for 10 Nokia handsets, including the popular Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia E72, with more Nokia smartphones expected to be added in the coming weeks.

Nokia Mystic Leak or Fake?

Images of a Nokia Qwerty handset running Symbian S60v3 has surfaced in Vietnam. The phone which is supposedly codenamed Nokia Mystic borrows some design cues from the recent Nokia E72 featuring a curvier body and a 5 megapixel camera on the back. The update to the successful E71 finally lands in US soil in the form of Nokia E72. Suggested price is $469, but it’s usually found cheaper on Amazon.

Nokia E72 Photos Preview

The Nokia E72 promises to improve on the previous model, the E71, but I wonder how the 5mp camera is going to perform. Fortunately, there are already some people carrying this slick device taking photos and sharing them on Flickr. I’m not sure if they’re allowed to, but those photos are available to the public if they knew how to look.

Closer Look At Nokia E72 – Better Camera and Smaller Spacebar

post thumbnail

It looks like maybe the Nokia E72 have a better camera and the spacebar was reduced to make way for additional buttons compared to the Nokia E71. Let’s analyze the leaked Nokia E72 and E75 video again. It looks just like the E71 but thicker and available in bright red color. What does the extra thickness bring in addition to the thinner Nokia E71?
