The new Tango software update for the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 started rolling out this week. Go open up Zune for PC or Windows Phone Connector on your Mac to check if you’re eligible. Another way to check is by going to Nokia’s software update page. It will tell you which regions have it now.

Two noticeable features on this update are flip-to-silence and Internet Sharing. Unfortunately for my wife’s Nokia Lumia 800, the software update was not available yet. The good news is that I found some instructions over at the XDA Developers forums that explained how to force the update manually. It worked and my wife finally has Internet Sharing on her Lumia. It’s a feature that she has been waiting for.
